Walking at higher altitudes is more physically demanding than walking at lower altitudes, however, if we are in excellent health with average physical fitness, have a positive attitude, self-confidence, and strong determination, we can accomplish the trek. Exercising and jogging regularly for some weeks before the trip is a good idea to enhance our strength and stability. Past hiking experience would be an asset but no technical skill is required for this trip. We must consult with our doctor before we decide and set up for the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions such as heart, lung, and blood diseases should inform Treks Planner Nepal before booking the trek.
Trekking in the Himalayan region goes through unexpected complications like natural and health challenges resulting changes in the itinerary for security reasons, If such an incident happens during the trek our professional Guide, Porters and leader take you to the final point safely for evacuation so, please be friendly with your guide for more achievements and protections. Flights in the Himalayan region often get canceled even in the best season due to bad weather so we request our travelers to carry luggage for extra days.

Day 01: Drive to Pokhara by Tourist Bus
Early morning, after breakfast, catch a Tourist bus or we can also organize a private vehicle for you. Viewing countryside villages, farm, shops, and river, you will reach Pokhara. A beautiful place with tremendous views of mountains and lakes. You can also go for Boating at Fewa Lake. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Drive from Pokhara to Birethanti and trek to Thikedhunga
After breakfast in Hotel, you will be driving along the Modi River Valley upto Birethanti. We will start a trek from Birethanti and after crossing a bridge over Modi Khola, and following the muddy trail, you will reach Tirkhedhunga. Spend overnight at the local lodge.
Day 03: Trek to Ghorepani
Today, you will walk in long uphill stone steps till Ulleri, a fine stopover for rest and lunch. On the way, you can catch splendid views of mountains, amazing landscape, and cheerful locals. After the tiresome walk in steep uphill till Ulleri, you will get an easy zigzag trail along the shade of refreshing forest, streams, reach Ghorepani. It is actually located on the ridge separating the valley of Kali-Gandaki from the valley of Modi Khola as well as the highest point of this trip. It offers a fantastic view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range. Spend overnight at the local lodge.
Day 04: Hike to Poon hill - Altitude: 3,210m/10,528ft | Trek to Tadapani
Rise early to hike up to Poon Hill, renowned for its breathtaking sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After witnessing the sunrise spectacle, trek back to Ghorepani for breakfast, then continue your journey to Tadapani. The trail winds through rhododendron forests and pristine landscapes, offering glimpses of wildlife along the way.
Day 05: Trek to Chhomrong
Today's trek takes you to the picturesque village of Chhomrong, nestled amidst terraced fields and lush forests. Enjoy stunning views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre peaks as you make your way along the trail. Upon reaching Chhomrong, relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere of this charming village.
Day 06: Trek to Himalaya Hotel or Dovan
Embark on a scenic trek to Himalaya Hotel or Dovan, as you journey deeper into the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary. The trail meanders alongside the Modi Khola river, passing through dense forests and cascading waterfalls. Keep an eye out for exotic flora and fauna along the way, and enjoy the serene ambiance of the Himalayan wilderness.
Day 07: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchre Base Camp [option to Trek down to Deurali]
Today's trek brings you to the legendary Annapurna Base Camp, a sacred sanctuary surrounded by towering peaks. En route, you'll pass through Machhapuchhre Base Camp, where you can marvel at the majestic
beauty of Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail) Peak. Upon reaching Annapurna Base Camp, soak in the awe-inspiring views of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, and other Himalayan giants.
Day 08: Trek to Bamboo
Begin your descent from Annapurna Base Camp as you make your way back down to Bamboo. Enjoy the scenic trek through lush forests and picturesque landscapes, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Upon reaching Bamboo, relax and unwind amidst the tranquility of the Himalayan foothills.
Day 09: Trek to Jhinudanda
Today's trek takes you to Jhinudanda, where you can relax and rejuvenate in the natural hot springs. After a refreshing dip, drive back to Pokhara in a sharing vehicle. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring the charming lakeside city.
Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus
After breakfast, you will take a drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the bustling streets of the capital city.

Passport and Visas:
First, be sure you have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. You can obtain visas for Nepal from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visas cost USD 25 for 15 days and USD 40 for 30 days till date.
Get the required visa for Nepal.
You can get Nepal visa prior to arrival from the Nepalese Embassy at your home country. Likewise, you can easily get an up on arrival visa at Kathmandu airport and other different borders from Nepal. Bring Official Papers
Some of the required official documents are your valid passport, 4 extra passports sized photographs (for trekking permits), travel insurance, airline tickets, and luggage tags. Visas can be obtained upon entry into Nepal. For detail information, we request you to visit our visa page.
Money & Credit card Info
We find that most of the credit card, master and visa card is blocked from your card provider. It may be because of a security reason. It, sometimes, may bring you in a problematic situation that you can't get money from ATMs and that you find difficult to pay for your treks and tour. To find yourself free from this problem, you can call your card provider before you travel to Nepal and inform there that you are traveling to Nepal. Ensure them to give the authorization for the payment. In Nepal, you have to pay 3.5 % credit card commission s per Nepal Bank rules, on top of your payable amount for the trek cost. So, please be sure that you bring some cash in USD to pay us. Likewise, be sure you have brought some small amount for your daily expenses as well as for those items which are not included in our cost. We request you not to change money in the Airport. The exchange rate is very low there. Our office provides you with the facility to change your money. Or, you can take help from Money Changers in Thamel.
Travel Insurance:

Buying and Renting Equipment in Kathmandu
It is not really necessary to spend a large amount of money buying extra equipment and clothing prior to your trip. It is because most of the trekking equipment can be hired from many adventure shops within Kathmandu. Most of the gear is locally manufactured (hence a lot cheaper). Some Chinese gear is likely to be more expensive but qualitative. Sleeping bag and down jacket are easily rented. Each item can be rented for less than USD 1, for a day. You have to manage other items buying them yourself. However, these items are more likely to be cheaper than those in your hometown. We will arrange all the necessary items you need on the second day of your arrival.
Vaccination for Nepal
All travelers should consult with their physician or update on vaccination requirements before travel. (Your doctor or health-care provider will determine what you will need, depending on factors such as your health and immunization history, areas of the country you will be visiting, and planned activities) For traveling to Nepal; we recommend you to take a vaccination of Polio, Tetanus, Typhoid, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Rabies etc, it is not really must but recommended.

After we get the 20% amount we will confirm your booking and you will get the official booking and payment receipt. The final balance for the tour will be paid upon arrival in Kathmandu.
