Trip Description

Ganesh Himal and Ruby Valley Trek, the hidden beauties in central Nepal lies between Langtang National Park and the Manaslu Conservation Area. This newly opened and least explored trekking region is close to the Kathmandu valley only a day drive away. This trek offers radiant Himalayan ranges such as Dorje Lakpa, Boudha Himal,  Langtang Lirung, Hiunchuli, and Ganesh Range Peaks (Ganesh Himal I, II, III, IV). Ganesh Himal is named after the Hindu elephant God "Ganesha". The view of Ganesh Himal IV resembles an elephant-headed Ganesha’s face. The view is marvelous, from Pangsang pass and the Singla Pass.

This trek is Nepal’s immaculate secret and the less trekked area offering authentic and unique cultural, biological, and geographical experiences. The ranges are resided by diverse ethnic groups such as Gurung, Tamang, Dalit, and Magar. Bestowed with more than 200 species of birds, more than hundreds of species of valuable medicinal herbs, unusual wildflowers, and also a mining area for rubies and crystals.

The trail offers enchanting waterfalls, landscapes, rhododendron and juniper forests, lush vegetation, sumptuous Ganesh Himal ranges, and other Himalayan ranges along with small lakes of Kalo Kunda and Seto Kunda are extraordinary.  The area around these lakes is mined with Rubies.
