Trip Description

Himlung Himal (7126m) is a mountain in Nepal's Manaslu region, close to the Tibetan border and nestled between the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges. This mountain will offer you all the thrills of a true mountain climbing expedition and is a great warm-up for those who desire to climb higher. Your base will be just above the Tibetan settlement of Phu Gaon (4250m) in the extremely remote and constrained Nar-Phu region of Nepal, within the Manaslu Conservation Area and far from the busier Annapurna circuit. The only ways to transport items into this area are by yak, mule, or being carried by porters as there are no roads in the area.

Himlung Himal (7126 meters) is one of the least difficult and technically challenging 7000-meter-plus mountains to climb, making it a popular Himalayan adventure destination (although it should not be underestimated). In comparison to other summits, it has the highest summit success rate, according to the Himalayan Database. The Himlung Himal is considered one of the easiest and safest summits to climb. Although the peak is considered relatively straightforward to reach, in order to get there and endure the high altitude, you must be a fit, experienced mountain climber.
