Enjoy the Wild Life of Koshi Tappu in 3 Days
Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve lies between Saptari and Sunsari districts in eastern Nepal. The Koshi Tappu Reserve covers the vast area of Koshi River delta. It is considered as the major attraction of the safari tour destination to observe various endemic & exotic birds as well rare wild buffaloes. The forest is the habitat of wild buffaloes, hog deer, wild boar, spotted deer jackals and Gangetic Dolphin. The vegetation of this area is mainly tall khar-pater grassland with a few patches of Khair-sissoo scrub forest and mixed type of deciduous river line jungle.
Travelers can explore the area of Koshi Tappu by riding on elephant back safari tour. Or by boating on Sapta Koshi River and by short jeep drive which allow you to observe various endemic-exotic birds and endanger animals in nature. Specially safari tour on dusk and dawn time you will see magnificent views with many varieties of birds and animals sitting along the river bank of Koshi. It is the home of birds where you can enjoy your dream of bird watching trip in Nepal.

Day 02:
Morning nature walks within near surrounding area
Have a breakfast & go for boating
Boating on the Sapta Koshi River with naturalist to observe water birds, water buffaloes, dolphins and various water habitats
End boat trip by the bank of river and have picnic lunch
Short drive to the Koshi Barrage to view some bird-life and fresh water Dolphins
Late afternoon return to the camp
Dinner and rest or sleep

We have prepared the trip departure dates in small groups departure for group fun and enjoyment trekking. Our group size start from 2 peoples (Even for solo travelers, we organize single trip on supplement cost of US$- 200 additional) and maximum group size will be 8-10 travelers. But in general, our every date will have small groups of 4- 6 peoples, which is good group size for safe and flexible & comfortable trekking.
