An Everest Base Camp Road Trek is one of the best ways to see Mount Everest and the surrounding Himalayan landscape. This is an alternative, safe route to reach Mt. Everest Base Camp, as the regular flight from Lukla may be canceled or delayed for many hours to days due to unpredictable poor weather at such a high altitude. The trip itself is amazing; it passes through a stunning valley in the lower Himalayas, and there are many chances to engage with the people and discover more about their way of life, food, and customs. Another highlight of the journey is traveling by vehicle to the most scenic place on earth.
Come along for a thrilling trip to Everest Base Camp. 16-day trek across the world's most breathtaking alpine landscapes to reach the Everest Base Camp. Enjoy lodging in tea houses in communities tucked away in the shadow of massive Himalayan peaks; see the distinctive Sherpa culture; and walk the mani wall-lined routes etched with sacred Buddhist prayers. All of these experiences await you on the Everest Base Camp Trek. Every mile traveled through the area yields fresh discoveries. The Everest Base Camp Trek offers additional benefits such as visiting sacred mountain monasteries and the Sherpa people's unique perspective on the Himalayas.
